SACSCOC Conference

We've enjoyed tagging along with B in July when he attends the SACSCOC conference.  We've been to Orlando, FL with him, and this summer it was in Grapevine, TX at the Gaylord Texan Resort.  We were a little bummed that W had his broken arm so he couldn't swim, but we made the most of it.  We left MS on Saturday and got to Grapevine in time for dinner.  We met up with Joe and the kids later that night in the hotel lobby for the laser light show.

The hotel theme for the summer was Alice in Wonderland.  Every day there was a movie shown and we watched one of those one afternoon.  They also had big, life size checkers we could play.

One night for dinner, we met Uncle Waldon and Sandra for dinner at Rain Forest Cafe at the Grapevine Mills Mall.  It was really nice to see them and we appreciated them making the trip to see us. The conference ended Wednesday, so we packed up and drove home as soon as B was finished.  We were ready to be home since we'd been gone for almost 2 weeks.  Plus, W had a doctor appointment to get his hard cast on.

Summer of 2017, the conference is in Austin, and we are looking forward to that since we haven't been to Austin yet.
