Sea World Trip

Since we purchased annual passes to Sea World San Antonio, we felt like we needed to use them to get our monies worth.  We found a weekend that worked for all 3 TX families so we planed a beginning of summer trip with  6 adults and 10 kids.  Our plan was to leave Friday morning after dropping Cooper off at Petshotel in Sugar Land.
How E dressed herself ready for the day

We made it to Sea World around 11:00 am and met up with Marcus's family in Aquatica.  We all decided to spend Friday at Aquatica and Saturday at Sea World.

Both the other families were staying 2 nights in San Antonio, but we were heading back to Richmond, Saturday evening.  Aquatica was a lot of fun, but E sort of got the short end of the stick.  She couldn't ride any of the 'rides' because she was too small, but at Aquatica, unlike Sea World, there aren't any shows that she can watch.  So I took her to the baby area, but she was bored with that quickly.  E mainly played in the spray ground area and that was sort of our base for the day.  If bigger people wanted to ride some of the water rides, then E and Addie would stay in the spray ground with at least 1 adult.  B took R on some of the bigger ones with the older cousins, and A and I rode a slide that used a double tube.  We all had so much fun we forgot to eat lunch, so we all left around 6:00 (when it closed) and went to Chuy's for dinner.  We had a pretty long wait, but we sat outside and ate chips and salsa to pass the time.

W was upset and did not want to be in the group picture
Dinner was fun, but with 16 people sitting at one table, it was pretty loud and crazy at times.  Our day was a so much fun and we were tired.  We checked into our hotel, Comfort Inn after dinner, and put the kids to bed. B and I shared ear buds and watched a movie on the tablet.

Saturday morning our goal was to watch the Sea Lion show at 10:45, and we all made it.  We ate breakfast at our hotel before checking out and then we sat with all the family at the Sea Lion High show.  I can't remember the order that we all did stuff, but I know that we spent some time at Sesame Street Bay of Play, Atlantis, Azul, One Ocean, and the big kids found time to ride The Steel Eel.  We at from Shamu's BBQ/Steakhouse but got our food to go and we ate while watching One Ocean.  Of course we were sitting in the splash zone, and B got splashed with his tray of food sitting on his lap.  It was funny and sad at the same time.  At least most of the food was gone, so only a few french fries and 1 corn dog go wet.  After we watched Azul, our family decided it was time to leave, because we had to get back and pick Cooper up by 9:00 pm from Petshotel.  We grabbed dinner on the way home and the kids were very tired.

All in all it was a great weekend trip to Sea World and we had a great time with the cousins.  I wish I had more pictures of Aquatica, but my phone/camera was up since it was a water park.  Anna had her water camera, so next time I'll get more of her pictures.
